This Master Service Agreement outlines the scope of our responsibilities, the choices available to you, and the standards that govern our working relationship. It is designed to ensure clarity, protect both parties, and establish realistic expectations from the outset.

1. Choosing Your Path

To ensure we provide the best value for your specific business stage, Sentrynox offers three thoughtfully designed pathways. Each option is tailored to a different level of involvement, ownership, and long-term flexibility—so you can choose what feels right for your business, both now and as you grow.

Each pathway reflects a different level of independence and ongoing responsibility. Some clients prefer a fully managed experience, while others value complete ownership and autonomy from day one. Our role is to make those distinctions clear upfront, so there are no surprises later—only confidence in the choice you’ve made.

2. The Sentrynox 30-Day Stability Guarantee

Every Sentrynox project includes a 30-day post-launch Stability Guarantee, designed to ensure your website is delivered in a polished, reliable, and fully functional state.

During this period, Sentrynox remains actively involved—addressing technical issues, refining layout details, and resolving any unintended inconsistencies that may arise after launch. This ensures your site performs as intended across devices and browsers before it is considered complete.

The Stability Guarantee covers:

  • Technical bug fixes related to the original build
  • Functional corrections (links, forms, responsiveness)
  • Minor refinements required to align the final output with the approved design

This period is not intended for new features, structural redesigns, or scope expansion, which are handled separately under our Flat-Rate Refresh Menu.

At the conclusion of the 30-day Stability Guarantee, the website is deemed Finalized. From this point forward, responsibility for site content, third-party tools, plugin licensing, hosting renewals, and ongoing maintenance transfers to the client—unless a separate support or hosting arrangement has been selected.

Sentrynox is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or site issues resulting from:

  • Client-initiated changes
  • Third-party software, hosting providers, or integrations
  • Actions taken outside the Stability Guarantee period

Clients who prefer continued technical oversight may elect to remain under an active Sentrynox care or hosting arrangement, detailed later in this agreement.

3. Empowerment: Managed vs. Independent

This section applies exclusively to clients on the Business Unlimited and E-commerce Suite plans, where full ownership of the website is included.

Following the successful launch of your site and the conclusion of the 30-Day Stability Guarantee, you may choose how your website is managed going forward. Each option below reflects a different level of independence and ongoing responsibility, allowing you to select what best fits your comfort level and business operations.

Choice A: The Sentrynox Guest

Designed for clients who want long-term stability without ongoing management obligations.

Under this option, your website remains hosted on Sentrynox’s professional server environment for an annual hosting fee of $30 per year. This covers the continued availability of your site and its associated technical infrastructure.

You are not required to manage, edit, or update the site unless you choose to. Many clients select this option simply to keep their site live and untouched after launch.

Administrative access to your website’s content system (such as WordPress or SiteJet) can be provided upon request, but is optional. Sentrynox does not perform routine updates, backups, or content changes under this option unless requested through the Flat-Rate Refresh Menu or a separate support arrangement.

This option is ideal for clients who want their website to remain live and accessible without the need for ongoing involvement.

Choice B: The Independent

Designed for clients who want full autonomy over their digital property.

Under this option, Sentrynox will provide the client with a complete copy of their website files and database export and assist with the transfer of the domain where applicable.

Once the handover process is completed, the client assumes full responsibility for hosting services, software updates, security, backups, and site maintenance. From this point forward, Sentrynox is no longer responsible for site availability, performance, or data integrity.

Any future assistance requested after handover will be treated as a new engagement and quoted separately.

This option is recommended for clients with their own technical resources or an external provider.

Optional Ongoing Support: The Digital Guardian Care Package

For clients who prefer continued peace of mind, Sentrynox offers the Digital Guardian Care Package as an optional monthly service.

This package provides proactive maintenance, security monitoring, backups, uptime oversight, and a limited allocation of monthly support time for routine updates, as detailed in Section 4 of this agreement.

Enrolment in the Digital Guardian Care Package is optional and may be added or cancelled in accordance with the terms outlined herein.

Clarity of Responsibility

Unless an ongoing hosting or support arrangement has been selected, Sentrynox’s responsibility concludes at the end of the 30-Day Stability Guarantee.

Our goal is to ensure every client clearly understands their level of independence from the outset—so there are no surprises, only confidence in the choice you’ve made.

4. The Sentrynox Care Package: The Digital Guardian

The Digital Guardian Care Package is an optional ongoing service available to clients on the Business Unlimited and E-commerce Suite plans who prefer continued technical oversight after launch.

Price: $49 per month

This package is designed for clients who wish to focus on running their business while Sentrynox quietly maintains the stability, security, and operational health of their website.

What’s Included

Sentinel Shield (Security & Protection)
We perform regular security monitoring and apply critical patches to reduce exposure to vulnerabilities and malicious activity.

The Time Machine (Backups & Recovery)
Daily off-site backups are maintained, allowing for efficient restoration in the event of accidental changes, failures, or data loss.

Ecosystem Maintenance
We manage routine technical updates for the site’s core system and plugins, applying updates carefully to minimize disruption.

Uptime Monitoring
Your website is monitored for availability, allowing us to respond promptly to unexpected downtime.

Priority Email Support
Guardian clients receive priority email assistance for access-related issues and questions directly related to the existing website setup.

Priority Maintenance Credits

The Digital Guardian Care Package includes two (2) hours of professional maintenance time per month, allocated as approximately 30 minutes per week.

This time may be used for:

  • Updating existing text, pricing, or staff information
  • Creating additional email addresses
  • Swapping images or banners
  • Updating contact details or social links
  • Adding simple announcement bars or popups

Priority maintenance credits (professional maintenance time) are allocated monthly to ensure consistent availability and timely support. Unused credits do not accumulate between months.

The following services are not included and require a separate quote:

  • Designing new pages or major sections
  • Building new e-commerce functionality
  • Custom graphic or brand design
  • Advanced SEO or advertising services
  • Integration of complex third-party systems

Service Scope & Expectations

The Digital Guardian Care Package is intended to provide operational continuity and technical peace of mind, not ongoing design or development services. All work is performed within the scope of the existing website structure and approved design.

This package does not alter ownership rights. Clients retain full ownership of their website and may exit the service in accordance with the cancellation terms outlined later in this agreement.

5. The Flat-Rate Refresh Menu

Sentrynox provides a simple, transparent pricing structure for post-launch updates requested outside of the 30-Day Stability Guarantee or the Digital Guardian Care Package.

This menu is designed to give clients predictable access to small improvements without the need for full project quotations.

Available Refresh Services

The Quick Fix — $15
Minor updates to existing content, such as:

  • Text corrections or replacements
  • Image swaps
  • Contact detail or link updates

The Section Refresh — $40
Addition or redesign of a single section within an existing page, using the current site design system and layout style.

The New Page — $60
Design and creation of one additional standard page that follows the established visual structure of the website.

Scope & Boundaries

Flat-rate services apply only to modifications within the existing website framework and do not include major redesigns, new system integrations, advanced functionality, or strategic consulting.

Requests that fall outside the scope of this menu will be quoted separately before any work begins.

Payment & Scheduling

Flat-rate services are scheduled after payment confirmation and completed within a reasonable working timeframe based on current workload and request complexity.

6. Service Continuity, Payments, and Cancellations

To maintain a stable and sustainable service environment for all clients, Sentrynox applies the following professional standards regarding payments, service continuity, and account responsibility.

Payment Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all applicable fees—whether monthly, annual, or once-off—are paid on time according to the selected service or plan.

Failure to maintain active payment may result in temporary service interruption, as outlined below.

Grace Period

Sentrynox provides a 48-hour grace period following a missed payment to allow for accidental delays or processing issues.

During this time, services typically remain active.

Service Suspension and Restoration

If payment remains outstanding after the grace period:

  • Website and associated services may be temporarily suspended to prevent continued operational costs or unpaid resource usage.
  • Suspension does not cancel the client’s agreement or ownership rights.

To restore suspended services, the outstanding balance must be settled along with a $5 service restoration fee, which covers the technical work required to securely reinstate access and functionality.

Extended Non-Payment and Data Retention

If no payment or communication is received for 90 consecutive days following suspension:

  • The website and associated data may be permanently removed from Sentrynox infrastructure.
  • This measure exists solely to maintain server integrity and operational sustainability.

While reasonable care is taken before removal, clients are ultimately responsible for maintaining active service if continued data retention is required.

Digital Guardian Care Package — Cancellation

Clients enrolled in the Digital Guardian Care Package ($49/month) may cancel the service with 30 days’ written notice.

Key principles:

  • Services remain active during the notice period.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
  • Cancellation of Digital Guardian does not affect website ownership or eligibility for other hosting or independence options described in this agreement.

After cancellation:

  • Responsibility for updates, security, backups, and maintenance transfers to the client unless another Sentrynox service is selected.

International Applicability

These continuity and payment standards are intended to operate fairly across local and international client relationships, reflecting common commercial practices for digital service providers.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that may apply to clients under mandatory consumer protection laws within their country of residence; however, clients acknowledge that continued service is dependent on active payment and communication.

7. Ownership, Transfers, and Exit

Sentrynox believes clients should remain in control of their digital future.
All ownership, transfer, and exit processes are therefore designed to be clear, fair, and free from unnecessary restriction.

Domain Ownership

A client’s domain name remains the property of the client.
Upon request, Sentrynox will reasonably assist with transferring the domain to another provider or registrar, provided that:

  • any outstanding balances are settled, and
  • the receiving provider supplies the required transfer information.

No additional transfer fee is charged by Sentrynox for standard domain release assistance.

Launchpad Buyout Option

Websites created under The Launchpad operate under a managed-lease model.

Clients who wish to obtain full ownership of their Launchpad website design may do so at any time through a one-time buyout fee of $100, after which:

  • the website files and database will be provided, and
  • the client may migrate the site to a provider of their choice.

Following buyout and transfer, Sentrynox no longer retains responsibility for hosting, maintenance, security, or performance unless a new service agreement is established.

Exit Notice

To ensure safe handling of data, services, and infrastructure changes, clients are asked to provide 30 days’ written notice before cancelling any active recurring service.

This notice period:

  • allows proper backup and transition preparation,
  • prevents unintended data loss, and
  • ensures continuity for both parties.

Good-Faith Transition

Sentrynox will make reasonable efforts to support a smooth and professional transition when a client chooses to move services elsewhere.

This includes:

  • providing available site exports where applicable,
  • releasing domains upon valid request, and
  • maintaining professional cooperation during the transition period.

Sentrynox does not impose lock-in mechanisms or artificial barriers to client departure.
Clients remain free to choose the service environment that best suits their long-term needs.

8. Liability and Uncontrollable Events

While Sentrynox uses reputable technologies, secure infrastructure, and professional best practices to deliver reliable digital services, certain events remain beyond reasonable human or technical control.

These may include, but are not limited to:

  • failures of third-party hosting or infrastructure providers,
  • global network or internet outages,
  • cyber incidents not preventable through standard security practices,
  • natural disasters, fires, or other force majeure events,
  • government actions, regulatory changes, or service disruptions outside Sentrynox’s operational authority.

In such circumstances, Sentrynox will make reasonable, good-faith efforts to restore service or provide guidance where possible.
However, Sentrynox cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not liable for losses, downtime, or data disruption resulting from events outside its direct control.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that may apply under mandatory consumer protection laws in the client’s country of residence.
This section is intended to clarify reasonable operational limits while preserving a fair and transparent relationship between Sentrynox and the client.

Agreement Completion

By engaging Sentrynox services, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms outlined in this Master Service Agreement.
